# SMS Verification Lookup Badge

> How Captivated's colored SMS verification badges indicate whether a contact's number can be texted.

Unsure whether someone's contact number is a textable mobile number? Captivated's SMS verification badge will let you know whether a number can be texted. If you hover over the colored badge next to the phone number, it will give you more information on the number.

**Green** = SMS Verified (textable and has been successfully communicated with)

**Blue** = Mobile Verified (textable)

**Yellow** = Non Mobile / landline (most-likely textable)

**Red** = Confirmed Landline (not textable)

**Gray** = Unknown

The SMS Verification badge can be found on your contacts page and on the individual contact page. It will also show when adding a new contact from the green compose message button.
