The Account Contact Card allows administrators to manage the business information that users can share with customers through their individual contact cards. When new users are added to your Captivated account, information from the Account Contact Card can automatically be included on their contact cards, helping keep your company’s contact information and branding consistent.

Edit the Account Contact Card

To review or update your Account Contact Card:
  1. Select the gear icon to open Administration.
  2. Select Account Contact Card.
  3. Choose Edit.
  4. Update the information you’d like displayed.
  5. Save your changes.

Include User Information

Enable Include User Information if you’d like each user’s individual information to appear alongside the company information on their contact card. This can include the user’s:
  • Name
  • Email address
  • Job title
For example, the Account Contact Card may contain your company’s name, phone number, website, and other business information, while the individual user’s name and title are added when they share the card.

How Contact Cards Are Determined

A user’s contact card can be configured in several ways:
Example: Your Account Contact Card might display Dunder Mifflin, while your Sales team’s Contact Card could display Dunder Mifflin Sales.

Managing Individual Contact Cards

Administrators can review or customize a user’s contact card from the Users section of Administration. Individual users may also be able to manage certain contact card information from My Profile, depending on your organization’s settings. For more information about sharing and managing individual contact cards, see Contact Cards.

Best Practice

Use your Account Contact Card as the default for information that should remain consistent across your organization, such as your company name, main phone number, website, and branding. Use Team Contact Cards when departments need different contact information, and individual customization only when a specific user needs information that differs from the account or team defaults.
